3.3 Week 2: December 17, 2022
- Changed decklist submissions to hotgames.gg
- Ruleset updated: ”Players must report scores in Battlefy as soon as the match concludes. The winner is always tasked with providing a clear screenshot that includes both players’ names visible in the frame, and the boardstate right before the winning move is made.
Failure in submitting said screenshot by the winner would result in an immediate game loss and a warning even if the score was reported in their favor.” Has been changed to: “Players must report scores in Battlefy as soon as the match concludes. 3.3 Week 3: January 6-8, 2023
- Changed decklist submissions to genshincards.com deck codes
- Format changed to 2 deck best of 3
- Changed ruleset to reflect players being responsible for verifying that their opponent’s deck matches their submission.
3.3 Week 4: January 13-15, 2023
- Character card Maguu Kenki banned
- Asia format changed to Single Elimination, 2 decks with 1 blind ban
- Europe format changed to 5 rounds of swiss, 2 decks with 1 blind ban
- Americas format changed to 5 rounds of swiss 2 decks with 1 blind ban, followed by a single elimination conquest top cut (Best of 3).
- Temporarily removed restriction that each player can only enter one regional tournament
- All format changes for this week are effective ONLY this week.
3.4 Week 1: January 20-22, 2023
- Character card Maguu Kenki is no longer banned
- Format returns to 1 deck best of 1 with 5 rounds of Swiss
3.4 Week 4: February 10th-February 12th 2023
- Ruleset update: Section 7.1 “Competitive Integrity”- Simultaneous Tournaments. Please refrain from participating in another competition during a tournament hosted by GITCG, as it affects your opponents and causes delays.. If found, this will result in a DQ from our tournament.
3.4 Major: February 24th-February 26th 2023:
- Best of 3, Single Elimination 2 Decks, players change decks upon winning.
- Prizing (All prizes will be distributed to players in the form of in game purchases)
- 1st – $50 USD
- 2nd – $30 USD
- 3rd-4th – $15 USD
- 5th-8th – Blessing of the Welkin Moon
3.5 Week 1: March 3 2023
- GITCG 3.5 x KQM Tournament Circuit
- Prize for 5-0 competitors doubled to $10 USD
- Major Tournament qualification changed to:
- 1. Must have participated in at least two weekly tournaments
- 2. Must have least 8 wins across your best 2 tournament results (e.g. getting 5-0 at one weekly tournament and getting 3-2 at another will qualify you for the Major, as getting 4-1 for two weekly tournaments will)
Week 5 prizing increased to $50 to undefeated participant.
3.5 Heated Battle Mode:March 13-March 15
Wins do not count towards Major qualification
Format is the Heated Battle Mode for patch 3.5
3.5 Week 5:March 31-April 1
Additional rounds of Swiss until there is only 1 undefeated participant
Prize pool increased to $50 to the last remaining undefeated participant, and $5 Welkin Moons to all players 5-0 after round 5.
3.5 Major: April 07-April 09

Changes to the Majors Format
All of the 3.6 Major Tournaments will now be adopting the 3 decks, 1 ban format. 9 unique character cards, 3 decks!

- Deck Archetype “Mirror Maiden Electro Charge” banned: In accordance with the new rule, decks are only allowed to include 1 of the following character cards: Fischl, Mirror Maiden, Rhodeia of Loch

Heated Battle Highlander Tournament
The tournament will be a combination of highlander + heated battle mode, with the format being best of 1 double elimination. Note; Highlander means 1 copy of each card Please check the Battlefy page for the registration and check-in dates and times.
Participation Rules
Each Round lasts for 35 minutes. You have 5 minutes to notify your opponent each Round. Failure to check in within the allotted time will result in a drop. If your opponent checks in, but is otherwise not present 10 minutes after checking in, please contact a TO with screenshots. Your opponent’s UID will be posted on the match page. Use this to setup a coop lobby with your opponent and play your match. Only 1 entry per person each week. Scores must be submitted with screenshots. If you are unable to attach screenshots, please notify a TO with screenshots ready.
Deck Submission Rules
Each participant prepares 1 Deck with 30 unique action cards (only one copy of a card is allowed). Submit decks by providing the deck code using the “Export Deck” feature on https://genshincards.com/ when registering on Battlefy. Errors with the decklist must be corrected before the tournament begins. If this is not done, you may be disqualified. Note: Decks cannot be changed during the Check-In period, except if your decklist is invalid. Violation of this rule may result in a warning or game loss.
